Ryan Park supports Thirroul Transport Committee - Thursday 14th July 2016
The Thirroul Transport Committee (TTC) met with Ryan Park on Tuesday 12th July to request further consideration of our requests to Minister for Transport Andrew Constance to implement ongoing improvements to the South Coast rail service.
TTC discussed the changes to the 2013 timetable and asked for support to continue to request alternate stops at Bulli and Austinmer on peak express services
Additional express stops at Bulli are required to utilise the commuter park and the existing disabled access at Bulli station, and to provide a good service for the residential developments being completed west of the Princes Highway.
TTC also requested a copy of the report on the trial additional stops at Austinmer.
We also discussed reinstating the restricted pick up and drop off at Sutherland and Hurstville stations on week day peak services.
TTC asked again that the waiting time at Thirroul for connections to the south, must be reduced from the present 18 minutes in off peak periods.
TTC requested that the Maldon Dombarton rail link be further considered completed as a matter of urgency to remove freight trains from passenger lines.
